YOUNGS WINS SIX MEDALS IN TULA

The youth team of Uzbekistan won four gold and two bronze medals at the Greco-Roman wrestling international tournament for the prizes of the 1972 Olympic champion Shamil Hisamutdinov, who was in Tula (Russia) on December 10-11.

Laziz Toshkentboev (42 kg), Asilbek Nematov (50 kg), Eldor Karimov (46 kg), Zhavohirbek Samatov (58 kg) rose to the highest level of the podium in their weight categories. Bronze awards in the asset of Azizbek Alimov (50 kg) and Akmal Akramov (54 kg).

The tournament was considered as preparation for the next season and directly to the selection for the 2018 Youth Olympic Games. In July 2017 in Thailand will be the championship of Asia, in September in Greece will host the World Cup.
